Provenance and use

WS/T 423—2022 (Growth standards for children under 7 years of age), issued by National Health Commission of China (国家卫生健康委员会) on 2022-09-19, effective 2023-03-01, replacing WS/T 423—2013. Built from 83,628 children in The fifth national survey of physical development in children under 7, across nine Chinese cities, 2015. The percentile tables used here are the ones in its Appendix A.

WHO Child Growth Standards (2006) · WHO Growth Reference (2007). The LMS parameters come from who.int; the figures here are computed from them and checked row by row against WHO’s own printed z-score tables.

For following a child over time, stay with one set of tables. Switching moves the position, and that is not the child changing.
